Welcome to the website of The Three Horseshoes Golf Society.

We are an established friendly society based in Barrow, Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.

The society organises nine golf days per year on the first Friday of the month from March to November at various courses in East Anglia. Have a look at our current fixtures list.

We have members of all ages and standards ranging from single figure handicaps to beginners. Nobody feels out of place or embarrassed at their standard of golf as our aim is to have a day’s golf with a few laughs thrown in at everyone's expense. You can keep an eye on our (or your) progress on the results page.

The annual membership fee is £25, which aids the general running of the society. Prizes are won on the day (usually a sleeve of balls) for Overall Winner, Nearest the Pin, Nearest the Pin 2nd Shot and Longest Drive. We welcome guest members for a fee of £5.

The typical golf day consists of coffee and a bacon roll on arrival at the course, 18 holes Stableford format, lunch and a wrap-up with prize giving (optional 9 holes in the afternoon). The cost is £40 for the day.

We are always on the look-out for new members and would welcome you to the society. Please click here for further information about joining the society.
