Firstly congratulations to Charles for winning in May at Brampton by a clear 3 points. June however was a different story with 7 players in the top 4 points but it was Roger who managed to find the extra point to win. Another fine turnout with 18 players and as usual, the good weather prevailed. See you all at Wyboston in July.

Welcome to the website of The Three Horseshoes Golf Society.

We are an established friendly society based at The Three Horseshoes pub in Barrow in Suffolk.

The society organises nine golf days per year on the first Friday of the month from March to November at various courses in East Anglia. Have a look at our current fixtures list.

We have members of all ages and standards ranging from single figure handicaps to beginners. Nobody feels out of place or embarrassed at their standard of golf as our aim is to have a day’s golf with a few laughs thrown in at everyone's expense. You can keep an eye on our (or your) progress on the results page.

The annual membership fee is £20, which aids the general running of the society and is largely refunded by way of a subsidised dinner at the pub for members and partners at the end of the year. We welcome guest members for a fee of £5.

The typical golf day consists of coffee and a bacon roll on arrival, 18 holes Stableford format, lunch and a wrap-up with prize giving (optional 9 holes in the afternoon). The cost varies from £30 to £40 for the day.
